Foster Care Director | Program Leaders

Rasidi Akodu, MSHS, LSWA

Rasidi joined NCYF in August of 2023 as the Foster Care supervisor and was later promoted to the position of Foster Care Director in April 2024. Rasidi oversees the operation of the foster care department in the Easthampton, Malden, and Worcester offices. Rasidi's passion of working with youth stemmed from his many years of volunteering in different capacities. He was a volunteer mentor with the Big Brother Big Sister of Hampshire County for 6 years, in addition to being a youth soccer coach for the Cold Spring soccer club in Belchertown MA. Rasidi also coordinated programs for youths in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Belchertown MA for 8 years. Rasidi has broad experience working in the human service field. He obtained his Master of Science in Human Services from Purdue University, and is a member of the National Organization for Human Services.
